THE BLACK CAT CONFESSIONS......
As a final confession that may or may not stop his inevitable execution, the unnamed narator from the tale " The Black cat " confesses that he was actually un reliable to give the full truth of the events that suround the murder of his wife. He starts by repeating that he does not consider himself mad just a tad disturbed. In his childhood he had a love and connection to animals that others did not. As he grew older he could afford to buy pets for himself and his wife. He absolutely loves them including his most prized pet his cat Pluto. Due to problems with his marriage and his job he started to take up drinking often coming home in a drunken rage attacking the animals . As an act of so called love he stabbed out plutos eye with a pen knife and as another sign of love filled perversness he hung it out by the tree in the front of his house. In the previous tale he said that the burning of his house was a coincidence but the truth is he burned it down every last smidge of it. Moving to a new home with his wife and pets he finds a black cat with one eye and one white spot that oddly resembled the gallows which pluto dangled from. He thought he would love the beast but he hated it more than he secretly hated his wife. Infact the new kitten mad him hate everyone more so than usual. Then finally things turn for the worse as his emotions and mental status snap like a twig he realizes that he must kill his wife and pets to end his inner suffering. He starts his plan after going to the bacement to step on the cat instead he trips over the thing, as a second attempt to kill it he swung an axe at it. and the wife blocked his path. Finally he burries the Axe blade into her head center mass and well kiddies I think you all know the rest. Mr. Allens Gets his in the end anyways, his new confession if anything sealed his fate......
